Items your children give you tend to bring a smile to your face but none more so than the gift of a new friend. Our story begins in Raleigh, North Carolina with our children (now college age) sitting in the same second grade class. Chaperoning field trips, play dates and a mutual penchant for long walks provided the gateway for our friendship.

Walking a minimum of 4 miles a day, six days a week provided lots of time to connect on multiple levels. Annie brought to the party years of creative endeavors. An award winning artist, world traveler and creator of two successful small businesses, Annie had the vision. Beth Anne, having taken the corporate route in life brought over 20 years experience in manufacturing and business systems management. Her real passion however was/is all things necessary in transforming houses into homes.

Cell phone calls and visits allowed the friendship to thrive even after Annie moved to Tallahassee, Florida. On one of those getaways to the City of Belleair, Florida the idea for The Belleair Collection was born. Annie’s eye for floral arranging never matched the results of her endeavors. Beth Anne felt sure she could ‘teach’ her friend a few tricks so the weekend turned into flower arranging 101. After trying several products available on the market as arranging tools the decision was made that nothing completely met our needs.  

The product we wanted needed to be FOOLPROOF, FUN to use, made of a durable, reusable material, able to create FABULOUS FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS quickly with very little instruction.  Hence, the birth of Fleurstone.

And yes, it had to be MADE IN THE USA. When at all possible we have chosen materials both EPA approved and also recyclable.
